Chicken Marsala
This recipe yields 2-4 servings
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
5 Boneless chicken breasts
2 packets brown gravy
2 cups water
1 cup marsala cooking wine
3 tsp garlic
1 stick butter
1/2 cup olive oil
1. Sautee the sliced red peppers and mushrooms in a medium pan with the garlic and butter until they are tender. Usually 5-6 minutes.
2. Mix the water and brown gravy packets in medium sauce pan until smooth.
3. Cook the chicken in a medium pan with the olive oil until fully cooked.
4. Strain the mushrooms and red peppers, then add them to the gravy.
5. In the same pan that was used to Sautee the peppers and mushrooms, mix Marsala wine with some gravy. How much depends on how thin you want the sauce.
6. Plate the chicken.
6. Pour the gravy mix over the plated chicken and enjoy.
